For some reason, I am getting this error message. Never happened to me before. When researching it, I tried suggestions previously given here, such as: rename all the ProgramData/Jellyfin/Server/config files. That didn't work either. All I did was restart the server.

Did your server or Jellyfin shutdown or crash less than gracefully?

Hi, I'm a new convert to Jellyfin from PLEX, and I see exactly the same issue.

The Tray runs as a startup app, and that works fine, but it attempts to start the Jellyfin server automatically, which _always_ fails with same popup, and same error in the logs. I've added Full Control to the Jellyfin folder with ProgramData to all users, added "Run as Administrator" to both the tray app and the server app, but still the same issue.

I can _manually_ run the server no problem at all, and so that's what I now do. I've disabled the tray in the Windows startup apps, and now just have a shortcut to the serve EXE on my desktop and simply dbl-click that each time I reboot.
