I've always missed that option in Jellyfin. I'm very used to check FilmAffinity (kind of an IMDB from Spain, very popular here in Spain, more than IMDB) and you always see the flag from where the movie comes from. You can even check how many movies from x country you have watched. A lot of times I've thought "I want to watch a japanese comedy", but I can't group them all, so I have to browse through the comedy genre and just wait to see if I find a japanese movie... and have I seen it? Do I wanna see it? It's not a very useful method...

We can search by genres, we can check the list of movies interpreted by Leonardo DiCaprio, we can do a lot of things, but I can't check the list of spanish movies from 2023, for example.

    I'm missing it A LOT.

Thanks...I really wish there was a way to do this. Specially for all those non-hollywood movies. Search by country should definitely be an option.

Where would Jellyfin source the data? What's the public API source to get this information?
    🤘 Enjoy

I always assumed that tMDB has this information available in its API, because when using Jellyfin4Kodi, I can browse my library by country of origin quite easily. If not, I wonder where Kodi pulls this information, might be a good place to look?

Looks like there's a "production_countries" item in the movie details part of the tMDB API? https://developer.themoviedb.org/referen...ie-details
