So here's the story: I'm trying to migrate to a new server running 10.11.6. My production server is still running 10.10.7 and that's working fine. The new 10.11.6 server was working fine for about a week as I was testing it, then the database became corrupted, I believe due to a power issue. Of course I hadn't gotten around to making a backup yet, so yesterday I tried some troubleshooting steps to recover it (shoutout MadGoatHaz on github for the script - it failed due to allegedly non-unique key entries). Eventually I gave up, completely reinstalled Jellyfin, and began rebuilding my library of almost 1,000 movies and about 100,000 TV episodes. I decided to leave my music library out for now to minimize the size of the database.
Cut to this morning where it has found only half of the TV shows. I go to make a backup this morning and receive "an unknown error occurred" on the web UI. Checking the logs shows the error "System.FormatException: Guid string should only contain hexadecimal characters" when it begins backing up BaseItems. I'm not a database engineer so I'm lost and could use some advice. Should I just yeet this and start over again?
Server is running on Ubuntu 24.04.4 running in a Proxmox container. Disk has just short of 300GB free.
Thanks!
