    Hi,

Here is my configuration and my issue. I have Jellyfin server (current version) running on a Debian 12 computer. I have setup in Jellyfin to use a specific folder for metadata (as I have a very large media library and metadate can use quite quickly lot of space). I thought (my mistake) that the db would be in metadata directory but it's not !
Jellyfin server has been unning since 2 weeks without any problem. Today I needed to reboot the PC and after reboot Jellyfin server doesn't restart or more precisely starts and then shutdown as:
    database or disk is full
I then realised that my / was approaching 100% used !

I looked after some settings files I could modify to indicate a new place for the database folder (/var/lib/jellyfin/data) but could not find anything relevant in /etc/jellyfin. Is there a way to change that setting with server not running (by editing a file somewhere) ? or should I go the other path by moving the /var/lib/jellyfin/data content somewhere else and creating a symlink ?

Thanks for your help and advices,

    Vincèn

So far the solution to move the data folder somewhere else with a synlink looks to work fine so far Smiling-face

    Hey @vincen

Yes you can move the config folder elsewhere by utilizing some environment variables.
    As described here:
