So I'm going through my classics of Dr Who and I'm now puzzled on how you arrange them? I'm on season 1 will it be just one long list of episodes when viewing in Jellyfin?

What I would like is to be able to have it so Jellyfin shows the different stories so I'm easily able to choose what story I want to watch.

Do you mean you want the shows organized by their story arcs?

The "Display order" in the metadata options for a series determines how episodes are arranged, such as by airdate or DVD order. In this instance, you would choose "Story Arc," ensuring that the season and episode numbers match the display order in TMDB, with each story arc representing a new season. However, there are two story arcs: The Doctor Order and the Story Order and only the Doctor Order is available when you select "Story Arc." This looks like a limitation with the code.

I'm not actually sure if I have explained it well, but would doing this separate the arc so I can clearly see what story I want to watch, at the moment you wouldn't really know where the first episode is of a arc. Does it separate it in a folder?

Or would you have to add each episode into the collection folder?

I understand what you are trying to do. I’m saying that the metadata source (story arc) needs to match the folder and naming structure, example below. But in this case there are two story arcs: The Doctor Order and The Story Order. When you select story arc as your display order, only the metadata for The Doctor Order will be shown and there's no way to get the metadata for the Story Order to be shown.

    Doctor Who (1963)
      Season 01 (An Unearthly Child)
        Episodes 1-4

      Season 02 (The Daleks)
        Episodes 1-7

Season 03 (The Edge of Destruction)
        Episodes 1-2

You can try using custom folder names with the air order as the display order. However, there are some issues with custom folder names, episodes will show up twice--once in the custom folder and again in the season folder. They'll have the air order episode number, but at least you'll be able view by the story arc.

Yes that is much better I am able to see what story I want to watch Call-me-hand

Is there any way to remove the season 1 folder?  Without deleting the episodes.

Also I'm not getting any covers for the particular stories does this mean I have to manually find the cover and save it to my computer and then upload it.
