Dolby Atmos or DTS:X not showing in "Media Info" ?

Is there a way to refresh or update only the "Media Info" (Codec info) ?

Recent user of Jellyfin and big fan already. Many thanks to the developers for that great software...
As far as I understand, the media codec information that can be seen on a movie page by clicking on the 3 dots and selecting "Media Info" is originally created from the first library scan by using ffprobe. Is that correct ? Under that assumption, I updated ffmpeg from v5 to v6 in my docker installation, as I read that V6 was able to probe atmos or DTS:X,  hoping that it would bring the ability to display "TrueHD with Dolby Atmos" instead of "TrueHD" for example. I tried to scan the whole library but this does not seem to launch any new codec scanning. I don't want to change the library's metadata (identification, genres, tags, posters, logo, backdrop) so I unchecked these for my whole libray through the API. Does anyone know if there is a way to refresh the codec information only ?

AFAIK, Jellyfin supports Dolby Atmos based on old reddit posts. I'm assuming DTS:X as well.

When you add your media ffprobe is configured to only read a certain number of bytes into the file for speed reasons. ffprobe is what figures out what is in the files. If your video has A LOT of subtitle and audio tracks ffprobe may not read far enough into the file to analyze every track.

Sorry, no, that's not it; maybe I did not phrase my question properly. Is there a way to get "MediaInfo" to display "Dolby Atmos" or "DTS-X" without integrating this information in the file name ?

Jellyfin is reliant on ffprobe distinguishing between TrueHD and Atmos, etc. If it isn't now, there is no way that I am aware of to do that. Adding it to the file name won't change anything in the Jellyfin UI.

and that post seems to indicate that ffprobe is now able to distinguish Atmos, DTS-X etc:

hence my initial post that mentionned this new ffprobe capability...
If Jellyfin does not leverage this capability yet, does someone know if it is planned ?

hence my initial question that clearly mentionned this new ffprobe capability.

That post states that ffmpeg 6.1 has the updated tagging while Jellyfin uses 6.0.1.  You would have to install vanilla ffmpeg 6.1 instead of jellyfin-ffmpeg.  You'd have to stop jellyfin then edit /etc/jellyfin/encoding.xml and change the ffmpeg path.  Then rescan your library and replace all metadata.

Keep in mind that jellyfin-ffmpeg has a lot of drivers built in.  If you use vanilla ffmpeg you would need to install your GPU's drivers and media engine drivers.
