During incoming/outgoing call no playback

Dear reader,

I noticed this while calling, playback paused and I could skip through the movie, but not make it play, I checked with some other users, and they weren't able to do so as well.

Is this something others can replicate, if so, I might create an issue on git.

- What do you mean by "calling"
- Which client?
- Which Operating System?

I'm going to assume that OP is trying to use Jellyfin on a phone and wants to playback a movie while a phone call is being made.

In this case, it seems that this would be an intentional feature set either by the client or the phone's operating system.
It would make sense for your movie or show to be paused when you get interrupted by a phone call. Then when the call is ended, the client or OS either keeps the show/movie paused, or auto-resumes it.

It seems that OP wants the opposite so that he can place a phone call and not have Jellyfin block playback of the media.

Calling as in, phone-calling, android app with Oxygen OS.

I do understand what you mean, and I do agree, but, this pausing doesn't happen during chromecast streaming, nor when I watch video's on YouTube or other services. So the jellyfin application must have an in-built setting that forces a pause. I would prefer either an option in the user-menu, or maybe force pause it one time, and if the user decides to continue playing while calling, it does so, and it doesn't stop.
