I just added a book's library for my ~1000 e-books to JF 10.11.6, and it's unusable. Just trying to open the library either takes 30 minutes plus or it doesn't open at all, and I end up with a spinning clock icon that spins forever.

I did try a smaller library of one book, but found it's using the epub information for its book source and not the .opf file. JF only seems to import book title, author, and series name without pulling any other information.

The file organization isn't too bad...

    Author/Series Name/Book (1)
    Author/Series Name/Book (2)

    Etc.

But in JF it creates a card for author, fine, then under that a card for the series name. Also fine. But then it creates cards for each book, with the first line being the series name and the second line being the book title. What you want at this point is the books organized not by title but by number in the series. And short of opening every book there's noway to ID what book is what in the series from the presented information.

At the very least JF should be importing the series name and number. But all that aside how do I speed up book libraries. It's just rediculously slow for me.
