I have a problem with the scraper, scraping the Swedish TV series "Så mycket bättre" season 15.

The problem is that I do not see the title of each episode, I only see "Episode 1" , "Episode 2", e.t.c.
This is most likely cause the titles does not exit in TMDB, but as far as I can see I have configured it to prioritize TVDB where the names of the episodes exists. I have rescanned, but it doesn't help...

Did you "replace all metadata" when re-scanning?

If you did, you can also try moving the Season 15 folder out of the library, rescan to remove it, move it back, rescan again to re-add.

Sometimes metadata becomes "sticky" and won't change without removing the affected episodes.

Yes,  I already did " replace all metadata".

Now I also moved away the whole folder, then "replace all metadata" moved the folder back and then "replace all metadata". Still does not work.

The strangest thing though is that on one screen I actually see the correct tile of the episode. See my two screenshots, in the second screenshot, you see the actual title of the episode, that is "En försvunnen vän".

What language is the library configured for?

I left it empty, see attached screenshot.

What about the server as a whole?  Dashboard > Libraries > Metadata.  When the config in the library is left blank it will inherit this setting.

I ask because TVDB only appears to have Swedish language metadata for season 15 and if you are asking for English metadata, or some other language, it won't retrieve anything.  I am assuming that since the "Country" in your profile is USA that your global language preference for metadata is English.

Ok. What I would wish is to get Swedish names for TV-series that is in Swedish, and all other TV-series in English...

You can try switching the library's language to Swedish. This SHOULDN'T trigger it to replace everything. Just new metadata. "replace all metadata" on the show(s) or seasons you want Swedish language metadata. Once that finishes, switch back.

If you don't want to go through these hassle each time, you would keep to keep separate libraries with separate language settings. Several users with bilingual families had to set things up this way.

    Hello!

I have the exact same issue as SweWolf.
I have setup a specific library for tv-series, i have put the language in Swedish and Sweden for the library.
I have set the TVDB plugin to be the only metadata scraper.

However during my test i have seen that it puts the title of the episode in "Original title", and not in the "Title" field.
    Did you ever solve this?

Since jellyfin does not show "Original Title" only when you go into the specific episode it will show it underneath the "Title" just as SweWolfs screenshot from post #3
