    Hi everyone,

This morning, I updated from version 10.9.11 to 10.10 (Debian 12.5). I’m not sure if the issue is related to the update or if it occurred before.
I started a full scan of the music library (replacing all metadata), and occasionally the following message appears in the log. What does this mean? Is any action required?

    Code:
    Okt 28 10:44:54 media02 jellyfin[662]: [10:44:54] [ERR] Error in metadata saver
    Okt 28 10:44:54 media02 jellyfin[662]: [79B blob data]

    Okt 28 10:44:54 media02 jellyfin[662]:    at System.Xml.XmlWellFormedWriter.WriteString(String text)

Can you share your full log via pastebin? And are you using NFO Saver?

Pastebin might be difficult for this. It’s my first time using Pastebin, and I can only add a maximum of 512 KB here. Yesterday, the full scan took about 8-9 hours, so the log files are accordingly large.

    Code:
    root@media02:/var/log/jellyfin# ls -lh jellyfin20241028*
    -rw-r--r-- 1 jellyfin domain users 7,5M 28. Okt 23:59 jellyfin20241028_001.log
    -rw-r--r-- 1 jellyfin domain users  11M 28. Okt 13:37 jellyfin20241028.log

And yes, I’m using NFO for storage.

Oof. Something is probably spamming the log with errors if it is that big. Zip the file and attach it to a forum post. If I had to guess, maybe insufficient write permissions?
