Excessive RAM consumption

I don't have any extra plugins installed. What is listed in the plugins section were enabled by default when I installed Jellyfin:
AudioDB
MusicBrainz
OMDb
TMDb
Studio Images

I use the TheTVDB plugin but already tested without it, it's not the problem. The rest are what ships by default.

Hello,

I am using Unraid OS, and I had to add an extra parameter "--memory=8G" to the Jellyfin Docker, because my server crashed twice within 24 hours due to Jellyfin consuming all the RAM.

I saw it go over 20GB of RAM.

Perhaps you need additional information that could assist you in your analysis?


Docker rebooted 6 hours ago and already almost 7Go

It reached 8GB and crashed...

So either it crashes the server, or it crashes itself when it hits the RAM limit I allocated to it.

I would try disabling the reports plugin first. See if that fixes the issue.
If not, try disabling all of them and turning them on one by one until you find the one that's giving you the issue.

I've heard of the reports plugin giving these types of issues before.
