I am ADHD and Autistic. Like many in the AuDHD community, I regularly listen to or watch shows I've seen many, many times. It's a profound comfort mechanism, especially when trying to fall asleep—a difficulty many of us face. I've also heard this is a vital comfort tool for others dealing with anxiety and depression.
While the web browser version of Jellyfin allows for some customization, the official iOS and Android clients lack a native way to limit playback by episode count. Currently, I have to rely on IOS’s timer by choosing the “stop playing” option, which is frustrating and annoying.
I developed a plugin called Episode Limit that adds a simple moon button (🌙) to the video player. It lets you set a limit (e.g., "stop after 3 episodes"), and the player automatically stops when reached (see attached screenshots)
Could the Jellyfin team consider integrating this logic directly into the iOS and Android clients?
I'd be happy to discuss the code, help test, or provide more context on how this helps the community. Thank you for considering this.

- Accessibility: This isn't just a "nice-to-have"; it's a sleep aid for neurodivergent users and those with anxiety.
- Feasibility: I've already built a working plugin (compatible with Jellyfin 10.11+) that proves the logic is sound and easy to implement.
- Community Need: Many users have asked for better sleep timers, and counting episodes is often more effective than timing in minutes.
