    Hello Jellyfin Community,

    I am interested in a feature that would allow for more granular control over movie access for individual users. The idea is to move away from a blocklist approach and instead implement a whitelist system. For example, I'd like to specifically permit a 12-year-old child to watch only movies tagged with "Cohen" (the child's name). This feature would provide a more tailored viewing experience and ensure appropriate content filtering based on individual needs.

    Looking forward to your thoughts and suggestions.

    Best regards

    That is not currently possible in 10.8. Don't recall if 10.9 will have this.

    The way I handle my kid's library is to create a separate library for them and then use symlinks to approved content so I'm not duplicating data.

    @TheDreadPirate
    The symbolic links are a good idea. Unfortunately, this rules out the possibility of my wife spontaneously sharing movies with the children.

    Nevertheless, I will familiarize myself with this method Smiling-face

    @tmsrxzar Thank you for hint Smiling-face
