Filter by year

I think i am going insane.
The filter option to filter by year: e.g. filter for movies of the year "2023" is not available for me.
i am running:
Version: 10.8.10
OS: Windows
Architektur: X64

Are you using some kind of custom CSS? If so, try with it removed. I see it in the filter drop down at the bottom.

this is one of those filters (well actually, any filter) that should just be part of an 'Advanced Search' feature. imagine trying to get to "2023" from a dropdown when you have at least one film from each year starting at "1888" - or any year between those for that matter.

i am using the stock theme, stockm everything, nothing customized...
what can i do or try instead of reinstalling?

i also deactivated the custom css code option even tough i dont have any provided

i updated to version 10.8.12 on x64 windows. nothing changed
