Filter out Collections from Movies

So, as everyone else, I have movies that are not part of a collection. In the filtering on the Movies page there is no option to filter out collections. Is there another way to do this or will I have to put in a feature request and hope?

I'd like to filter out all collections so I can add my movies to a playlist and also for easier browsing. (I don't use any of the client apps. I just access it through a web browser.)

Yeah, I don't think it's possible.

The closest feature request I could find is request 850 and has 135 votes (Don't know if that is good or bad). It is pretty granular though and I feel adding 'collections' to the filter menu is more of a basic functional use case rather than extending granular control. Regardless I have added my 2 cents to that feature request for adding 'collections' to the filter menu.

Is what I have done the right way to do this, or should I have created a separate feature request?
