When I filter by year, to see how many movies I have by decade, 2024 is missing

If you don't have any content that was initially released in 2024, then 2024 won't show up in that list.

Clear your browser cache? If you recently added the 2024 movies, you may be seeing a partially cached UI.

How do you clear the browser cache in JMP?

Right click in the JMP interface and click "reload". Or go to C:\Users\yourUser\appdata\local and delete both "jellyfinmediaplayer" and "Jellyfin Media Player" folders.

Wait a second, those 2024 movies are all part of collections, I may or not be an idiot

Nope, filtered by HD video type, still no 2024 in the dropdown menu, not an idiot

Go to one of the movies that was released in 2024 and "edit metadata" for that movie. Scroll down to the release date field and make sure it is A) populated and B) has the correct date.

For one of these 2024 movies, can you "replace all metadata" then "Scan all libraries" from the dashboard home? I'm wondering if something happened when your new movies were initially ingested and metadata wasn't inserted into certain tables in the database.
