Yea a lot of this is limited by what MyBB itself can do. e.g. markdown, inline code and emojis. We did implement a limited subset of 127 emojis that should all or mostly work using traditional : notation, they get replaced on-post like so: Thumbs-up (via : + 1 : ).

The theming of the code blocks can be changed, I'll look into that.

    Great feedback as always, thanks!

The codeblocks have been adjusted to better fit the themes!

It also seems (I didn't realize this) that we can adjust the MyCodes, so it should actually be possible to reimplement a limited subset of Markdown on the board. I'll do some tests and see, first being to use backticks for inline code and triple-backticks for code blocks.

I'm not sure if the intention was to keep all such requests in this single thread, but I suspect with a shiny new system and a (hopefully) massive influx of users a single thread will get a little out of hand with multiple issues.

I think a whole forum is a bit much, for now we can leverage this thread. I'm the primary one making the changes, so i'll keep on top of it.

We now have inline code with single-backticks, and

    multi-line code
    with triple backticks
only use this for multi-line code samples though

Seems trying to do several other markdown-like MyCodes is breaking things, and that triple-backtick isn't working right either, so I don't think it's really worth spending too much time on. Proper Markdown support is a MyBB 2.0 feature, so I guess it's just a long-term waiting game for that.

I think we should make the "star rating" more visible when there are ratings.

On highlight, it shows the stars as blue but after selecting a rating, the stars change to a white color that isn't much different than what they look like with no rating at all.

    On hover:

    After selecting a rating:

A subforum for Jellyfin-related 3rd party tools would be nice.

Well thats a whole can of worms. Not all "3rd party" applications that interact with jellyfin are wholly welcome here like the ones that are primary for Piracy.
We discussed that topic and there might be something in the future, however that needs to be planned carefully.
    typos are finders, keepers.

I have no idea how difficult this would be with MyBB but it would be amazing if we could update the forum icon shown on the home page based on if there are any unread threads/posts. Once you click on a forum, there are icons next to each thread telling you if there are any unread but that's it. You currently have to open each forum individually to see if there are any unread.

    The icons I'm talking about:
