Main path to everything; /volume1/Data/Ripped DVD's
Respective paths...
- Movies; ./Ripped DVD's/Movies
- TV Shows; ./Ripped DVD's/TV Shows
Prev setup included a mixed media library, which I guess can, even if not always cause issues. Maybe that was the case for me, but I'm just taking the scientific method to the board and just starting over w a hint based on one hierarchy read I found online.
This is how the stack file in portainer currently exists, and was ran under the old setup that ended with a folder collapse w a mixed media library.
Stack file...
Everything runs at this point post install... next would be the setup via local:8096 (if nothing needs edited to the stack file to get to the end results desired. I'm guessing I'll need to edit 1 path and add another.).
Anyway, I've readjusted some folder names as most everything else was accurate prior to the current rebuild. Really all I did was append dates to some things.
So here's how the complete hierarchy as it currently exists, post minor modifications.
/volume1/Data/Ripped DVD's (keeping in mind respective TV SHow & Movie folders).
- Sci-Fi
- Matrix (folder)
- title 1 date ttimdb
- title 2 date ttimdb
- etc.
- Thriller
- title date ttimdb
You get the idea, unlike most, my hierarchy includes genre folders inside the Movies & TV Shows folders. They existed pre & post folder collapse on the old build... which I think was due to a TV show that had Comedy in its title in the comedy folder. But this show folder was also just titled with no date, but that date has since been added to the show folders name.
TV Shows carry the same hierarchy, so no need to otherwise demo that...
Seasons are worked in under the main title folder.
Season 1 date
Season 2 date
Season 3 date
So on & so forth, with their respective contents across the board for all shows as S01E01
I hope this is fully understandable, but I guess I'm asking what if anything do I need to do to the existing stack file to make everything translate properly to the web side of things for final setup.
