The only thing that sticks out to me is that I have Enable ACL set, and that I am transcoding to RAM, but I can't see how that is any different than a temporary directory. But I get the feeling that it has to do with permissions.
Could you try enabling ACL on your config and cache? EDIT: I tried to change transcode storage to a temporary directory, it still works as it should for me, so that probably has nothing to do with the problem. BTW, I prefer the logs in text form, not screenshots, it makes it harder to follow as the screenshots appear in the wrong order.
My specs:
Operating system: Truenas Scale 24.10.2.4 Motherboard: SuperMicro X11SPi-TF CPU: Intel Xeon Gold 6244 8c16t RAM: 256GB DDR4 2666 (4x64GB LRDimm) GPU: Intel Arc A310 (AsRock Low Profile) Storage: 8x8TB RaidZ2 + 2x1TB Samsung Evo 870 S-ATA SSD mirrored Case: Fractal Design R4 miditower

I set transcoding on a temporary directory cause i have only 16GB of DDR4 so i haven't got much RAM, next time i'll send you logs as text i'm sorry.
I've tryied to enable acl and force it with your same acl entries but it have the same issue, i'll send you some images of the issue. When i pres on the play button on the jellyfin interface before entering the player the cpu usage goes to 30% then comes down at like 10%.

The CPU usage spiking is easily explained, all audio transcoding is being done on the CPU. And others with low core/thread count CPUs have had issues in the past with Jellyfin.
Speaking of, could you try bumping number of CPUs to 8, to include SMT? I know I'm throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks atm, but without logs I'm left guessing. Are you connected to a sound bar or other that supports DTS HD-MA, and is it enabled or disabled in the user settings? The reason I ask is if I use my Samsung TV which has a Samsung soundbar and I enable DTS (DCA) support, it freezes at the same spot like you experience. Could the issue be here? I couldn't really tell from the screenshot of the log if the movie includes PGS subtitles or not, and if you are trying to watch with subtitles enabled? You could try enabling "experimental PGS subtitle rendering" and make sure "Always burn in subtitle when transcoding" is disabled for now. And finally, is this a problem with all media files that is trying to transcode, or only some?

the lmit was set at 8 i henged it just before taking the screenshot thinking about the fact that maybe i didn't needed all cpu threads but anyway. I have a samsung soundbar connected to the tv eith the fire tv but i am testing on the pc i'm writing with on opera browser, idk about DTS (DCA) support because i now don't seem able to connect either to truenas ui or to an external mobnitor via hdmi to the server, could be the movie i guess, i've tried other but i just have to delete most of my jellyfin library to move my pool on a smaller one, but i usually use bazaar to get subtitles in subrip, i think thst the problem verify only on files that need some sort of trsanscode, and it could be hdr to sdr or codec (i guess that how it is called) but yes i always use subtitles but as an external subrip. The Always burn in subtitle when transcoding should be disabled, i'll test everything as soon as i can connect to the server again, i'm reluctant to just turn it of and then back on cause i have a badblocks running on a 8 tb drive that failed it previusly so i was double checking. But eventually i think i'll do a new gtruenas istallation eand set everything back from scratch, thank you for all the support, if i will eventually try to fix it before doing all back from zero i will write here, thank you very much

Have you tried going into the system BIOS and disabling the AMD iGPU so the system only sees the GPU card? I'm not running Jellyfin on Truenas but I have mine see that way on my Dell Jellyfin server.

i'm actually doing a new truenas installation, because i wanted to do amore clean one with the things that i learned from my first one and thats the first thing that i've done for this one, i'm hoping this resolve the issue, i've just set principal video device as pcie instead igpu on the bios and then set igpu multi monitor as disabled, i thin that on asus motherboard it is what it takes to disable the igpu. Thank you to everyone that helped
