Hi folks, I'm testing Jellyfin as a Plex replacement and I'm running into a library display issue. I don't know if the file system setup needs to change or not, just checking. My 1080p movies are in a different folder than my 4k movies. I have made a movies library in Jellyfin and added both paths to it. In Plex, the movies are combined and displayed as a single movie, with an additional 'Play Version' menu. If you click on play, Plex chooses the correct version to play based on the client's abilities. In Jellyfin, I am seeing 2 entries for each movie, obviously one 1080p and one 4k. There is no indication which movie is which unless I look at the info, and there doesn't seem to be a way to combine these library entries to even see if there is a 'play version' option available. Is this something Jellyfin can do? I guess the other option would be to make a separate 4k movies library, but I'm really hoping to avoid that to keep things neat and organized. I am hoping I do not need to change the file system organization, and I'm just missing something as I'm a rookie with Jellyfin, thanks in advance.

    Hey @Verme

You can display libraries of the same type in the UI as they would be one.
This can be configured per-user in the user "home" settings (at the bottom).

However, jellyfin does not "auto select" the best version. When you click on the details of an movie/episode that has multiple versions, you have to select which one you want to play.
    typos are finders, keepers.

So would I have to make a separate 4k movies library, and then combine them, as opposed to having both movies paths in the same library? This seems to be what you are saying, correct?

The plex syntax for multiple versions of a movie is different, IIRC.  Read this section of our docs.
