    Hello,
I have a collection of music on my server. Since it's downloaded from various sources, the genres all vary wildly in terms of naming. I don't use them anyway, and because of that, I'd like to know if it's possible to just disable the Genres tab in the music library since I don't plan to use it. Thanks!

I remember someone else asking this, but I can't find the thread. One of the theme/CSS experts on here suggested using CSS to hide the web element for the tabs.

(I tried to group the genres first to at least clean them up, but when selecting multiple genres and pressing 'Group versions', it just seems to hang forever with a little loading circle in the middle of my screen.)

This actually seems like a workable solution. Does this hide it on the mobile app as well?

Yes. Since both the Android and iOS app (not Swiftfin) are wrappers for jellyfin-web.
