I have looked at https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/admini...eshooting/ however I can't find where the necessary JSON file is on my Synology NAS in order to change anything, nor how to modify the files.

I'm running 10.8.10 build from the SynoCommunity package on DSM 6.2.4-25556 Update 7.

From the dashboard, I know the path is /volume1/@appstore/jellyfin but can't find anything after that.  When I use the find / -type f -name ".json" command I get a permission denied error even though I'm logged in via SSH as an admin privileged user, so I don't even know if I could change the setting once I found the file or not.  I tried using sudo at the start but nothing happens, just a fresh command line.
Apologies for any responses that seem short/rude, on the spectrum and get frustrated very easily with technology. Do my best to keep it under wraps but doesn't always work when something isn't going as it should. Weary-face

If the file does not exist, you will need to create it as mentioned in the documentation:

I am not familiar enough with the particularities of Synology to walk you through it step by step, but it should be as easy as using a text editor to open or create the file and adding the requisite lines. If you're getting some sort of permissions error, that sounds like an OS configuration problem perhaps.
