I did find "Preferred audio language" below "Audio Settings" within the user profile menu "Playback".

But that does not seem to work for all movies!

For example, with "Pirates of the Caribbean" the default language keeps being the surround english DD and not one of the german tracks (DD and DTS).

At first, I thought this to happen because of those 2 german tracks, but I saw other movies where this does work fine, even with both DD and DTS german tracks.

And no, I do not have "Play default audio track regardless of language" enabled!

    I am on V10.10.2

    It looks like this attached.

You can use ffmpeg or MKVToolnix to change which track is "default". Or remove the default label altogether. I believe the audio language preference is overridden when there is a "default" audio track.

Thanks, I am going to research this - but the menu point from Jellyfin seems to say that we have an option to use the default track or not - and I did not check this option, so it is still irritating.
