The internet is an awesome place, and someone created some test disc material to help tune your video display.

You can get both a manual, and the files here: https://w6rz.net/ - I believe it came out of another home theater specific forum: https://www.avsforum.com/threads/avs-hd-...on.948496/

In any case - sure you can download and burn your own BluRay - and it comes with a menu system and everything. Heck - I've even got the classic AVIA and Video Essentials discs https://www.projectorcentral.com/calibra...review.htm -- but ripping these results in many very short files - and you lose the menu system (of course)

The AVS HD 709 material is more relevant today in any case - and I'd love to have it fed through Jellyfin so I can test my whole end to end video path.

I even see that there are entries in the movie db for this disc https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/389808-...ation-disc

What I want to figure out, is how to sanely structure this inside of Jellyfin. Do I set it up as a TV series? Configured it with "seasons" and in each season - I have a set of tests (episodes?). Maybe calibration needs to be it's own library of content?

Is there a better way to do this? I don't mind not having a menu system, but I do need some sane way to navigate the content to find the right test pattern without making a mess of my library.

There is a pretty comprehensive tree structure for each of the video files..  (largish snippet below)

    Code:
