    Hey everyone,

I was having issues with some media playing ok on my laptop but not on my tv, and my homeserver only has an intel gpu with some codec support so I built JellyProbe (with some claude support) for testing playback of various profiles. Maybe something like this already exists but I didn't see anything. Its not perfect, but it helped me to tune the transcoding settings to work with the valid codecs for clients. And I have a nightly job that plays any auto downloaded files, so I can check there are no transcoding issues with the source files. Probably this could be done with ffmpeg but it seemed better to try to connect over the API like a real client. Maybe its useful to someone else or you have ideas for improvements!

    Have a good weekend,
