    Hi,

I'm moving from Emby to Jellyfin

I'm currently using "IPTV Plugin", It was already inside Jellyfin but I can't find it anymore.

I can see it here in Github into Jellyfin-Archive
    > https://github.com/jellyfin-archive/jell...lugin-iptv

I'm not sure if it's this one ..

    Anybody knows about that ?

    Regards

You don't need a plugin for IPTV anymore. Dashboard > Live TV. Then you add your IPTV m3u tuner. It is built into Jellyfin now.

I read multiple topics and threads here and on Reddit about IPTV on Jellyfin. However, I'm still having difficulties making live tv streams such as the following URL working on Jellyfin. Could you please update me if Jellyfin supports such type of IPTVs?

    {removed IPTV links - no longer needed for troubleshooting - TDP}

I can easily play these URLs on Emby through IPTV plugin (not the built-in Live TV).
Looking forward to have your help/suggestions.

Jellyfin supports m3u8 tuners. Natively. I, and many others here, have IPTV setup on our jellyfin servers.

We'd need to see your logs to figure out why it isn't working for you.

Thanks for your reply. Could you please, kindly, try with one of the URLs in my previous post and see if it's working on your side?

I recorded a short video of my screen, the following link, showing how it works on Jellyfin and testing it on other services.

I did some testing with those live streams and I think the way those IPTV providers works may be problematic for Jellyfin. There are a lot of different ways to serve IPTV and Jellyfin doesn't support all of them.

You will need to use an IPTV proxy like TVHeadEnd or Threadfin to pre-process your IPTV. If you use TVHeadEnd, you will also need to install the plugin for it.

Is there any plans to support such streams in the next versions of Jellyfin?

No idea. IPTV is difficult due to the some legacy baggage in jellyfin's code, but primarily due to the vast number of ways that IPTV is served. In many cases in ways that are not compliant with official IPTV specs and protocols.
