Issue connecting to jellyfin server from android device using VPN

Hello, I am having an issue trying to connect to Jellyfin server from my cellphone using a VPN. I am running version 10.9.9.

I am trying to set up access to jellyfin using a VPN. I have tried both NordVPNs meshnet and Tailscale. Both of those work on there own as I can ping and I can send files from my PC to my phone. But, when I try and access Jellyfin from either the Jellyfin app on my phone or just using the browser it tells me the server is not available. I have remote access enabled and Ive tried adding the remote IP address filter that NordVPNs own jellyfin tutorial suggests.

Hi! There are a lot of things to consider.

What OS is your Jellyfin instance running on?

Can you access your Jellyfin server locally (through your 192.168.x.x:8096 address)?

What happens if you try to access the server through your browser? Can you post a screenshot of the message?

Do you know if Jellyfin is binding to the MeshNet interface?
