Hi.
I like using my phone to control media on the TV's of our household. But I've had enough with all the problems with the Google Cast functionality in Jellyfin, and the devs not responding to my bug reports.
So I purchased a Raspberry Pi 5 8GB to use with Kodi (LibreELEC), and had planned to use Kore (Kodi remote app) to control playback from the phone.
But I like Jellyfin too much to just throw it out right away, so I thought I'd give the JellyCon addon for Kodi a chance before going native Kodi (with a lot of manual setup for each device).
Logging in with my user on JellyCon, I now can "Cast" or "tell" JellyCon to play content directly from the Jellyfin app on my phone. Hurray!
But... When I try to do the the same from another phone with the same Jellyfin phone app, logged in to the same server with a different user, the Kodi device is not even listed under the casting button.
If I change the logged in user on JellyCon, my phone looses the ability - but the other phone then gains the ability...
So now I have to ask. Is it possible to use JellyCon as a player for multiple users, without having to switch user account all the time? Is there a setting somewhere I have missed?
The desiered effect is for each user to retian the own watchlist in the phone app, and be able to start playback on JellyCon without having anything other than power and HDMI connected to the Kodi device.
