I host Jellyfin on my mini-server running as a docker container.
My movies, tv-shows, fotos and music are stored on a SYNOLOGY DS218j, which is powered down, if not in use, which is 98-99% over a week.
Does Jellyfin frequently scan the media folders or could I prevent it from scanning not available folders because the NAS is powered down?
Speaking of Jellyfin: I was a KODI user from the time when it was named XBMC and switched to Jellyfin some days ago and want to thank all the wonderful people involved in the Jellyfin as well as in other Open Source projects. Thanks a lot for sharing!
