Good morning, all.
I am new to the forum and couldn't find this issue anywhere, my apologies if the solution exists, please point me in the right direction.
I have jellyfin server running on my linux server and I can login to it from multiple users inside and outside the network fine, on Android devices. As soon as I try on iOS using the Jellyfin Mobile app, whether it be on an iPhone or Ipad, I get an error that it "Could not connect to server." I have tried using my DDNS hostname, which works on the android devices and I have tried using my internal IP address of the server which also works on android devices that are in the local network. I am not sure why iOS is giving me issues. The only thing I read was to make sure the "local host" setting in privacy and settings is turned on/enable, which it is and still the same error.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!
UPDATE: I was able to have someone test the jellyfin app on his android phone and it also wont let him connect (outside the network). I am not sure why I can connect on amazon firestick inside my network and an android streaming device outside the network just fine but on cell phones/tablets it doesn't seem to work. Still holding out for someone that may know what im doing wrong.
