    Hi everyone,

I installed the Jellyfin app for Android TV on my Chromecast. When I open the app, it finds my server but can't access to it.
I tried disconnecting my firewall for a few minutes just to check and it still doesn't work.

Im really clueless I would love to have your help to solve this.

    Thanks !

Are you typing the IP and port? http://192.168.1.3:8096 for example?

Are you using https with self signed certs?

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

I did not type the IP and port because my server was found by the app.
So I just click on the server and it doesn't work.

When I read your message I tried to enable https but it is asking me to provide an SSL certification

Don't bother with https on LAN. And we suggest using a reverse proxy to handle https.

Try using the IP and port instead of the discover function.

What OS is your server running?
