Hi all,
I am quite new to Jellyfin and I am having some major issues. It was working fine two days ago on Friday night. but since Saturday when ever I load up Jelly fin on my iMac then load open the server on google desktop it will open for about 5 minutes I can look around, and then it crashes or turns off.
By crash, I mean that I can no longer access the server and it comes up as unresponsive, and I cannot watch anything or try to fix it.
Last week, I bought a Apple Superdrive to start downloading my DVDs and putting them onto Jellyfin. I'm wondering if there is too much data on the SSD or something. It is a 1TB but currently has 190 GB left.
I don't know what to do but if this carries on i'm just going to have to give up on Jellyfin which hurts, because I like the software so much after about a year of knowing it and 2 months of using it.
I dont have time to trouble shoot every time there is a problem, i'm not that good at troubleshooting.
My specs: (I'm not very technical)
iMac
Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019
Processor - 3 GHz 6-Core Intel Core15
Graphics - Radeon Pro 570X 4 GB
Memory - 8 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
Startup disk - Macintosh HD
macOS - 15.0.1
My Storage
1TB Sandisk Extreme PRO Portable SSD
