    Hi Smiling-face
I did not find any solution for my problem.
Jellyfin does not detect all my movies.

I am using best practice names for all of my movies and folders like:
    Media/Movies/Movie (2021) [imdbid-tt12801262]/Movie (2021) [imdbid-tt12801262].mkv or .mp4
    https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/movies/

I tried Plex just for fun and it detects every movie.
Is there anything I can do to find the missing movies and the reason why they are missing?

For some reason the forum did not show me this thread in my feed.

What OS are you running and how is Jellyfin installed? Can you share your jellyfin logs via pastebin?

Does the jellyfin user have permissions to read your folders?

    Sorry for my late reply!

I am using Unraid 6.12.14 in a docker container.
Jellyfin has read/write access to my folders. In general it works as expected.

Which Log do you need exactly? The log for 1 day? Should I run a library scan before?

Yes, the full jellyfin log. log_20250102.log. And, yes, initiate a scan before hand.

The pastebin is pending moderation. Try https://privatebin.info/

I don't have a browser that can access that link. Please use privatebin.

I am not able to install private bin. I can only use public available services or is this link working for you?

That privatebin link works. Also, privatebin is not an app, AFAICT. Not sure where you saw that.

I don't see anything obvious in regards to file permission issues. The only thing I see, that is unrelated, is your use of your URL in the address binding field? Which is not how that works.

What are the permissions on the movie(s) in question? And the folder the movie is in?
