    Today I completed a major redesign of the Jellyfin Home screen, replacing the oversized horizontally scrolling library covers with a cleaner and more compact tile-based layout.
    The main libraries are now displayed as a responsive grid using custom 3D-style artwork. The layout automatically adapts to desktop, laptop, mobile and Smart TV screens without requiring users to scroll sideways through large library covers. Movie, Series, TV Show and Christian Movie libraries appear on the first row, while Animation, Animated Series, Audio and Recently Uploaded content are grouped neatly below them.
    The separate music and spoken-audio libraries were combined into a single virtual Audio tile. Opening it displays only the audio libraries available to the current user, such as Christian Music, Audio Bible and Teachings. Users who do not have access to any audio library will not see the Audio tile at all.
    A new Recently Uploaded section was also added as a dedicated Home tile. It combines newly added movies, series, episodes, Christian movies, animation, animated series and TV shows into one chronological view. Audio content is intentionally excluded. The results automatically respect each user’s library permissions, and deleted media disappears from the list without requiring a separate manual cleanup.
    The Continue Watching section was redesigned to fit the new Home layout. It now displays five items on larger screens, four on laptops and two on mobile devices. Desktop and Smart TV users can continue through the list with navigation arrows, while mobile users can swipe horizontally using touch controls. The original playback progress indicators remain available.
    The Home screen now keeps only the essential areas visible:
    • responsive library navigation;
    • Continue Watching;
    • the virtual Audio hub;
    • the combined Recently Uploaded view.
    Other default Home sections are hidden to keep the page simple and consistent.
    Smart TV navigation was also improved with a clear internal focus effect that no longer enlarges or clips the selected tile. Mobile scrolling and touch behavior were adjusted separately so the desktop and TV layouts remain unchanged.
    All custom tile artwork, Home behavior and responsive styling are included in the existing update-restoration workflow, so the redesigned interface can be restored automatically after future Jellyfin updates. A new consolidated backup of the completed customization was created after removing the older development snapshots.
