Jellyfin not loading in Chrome, Windows

When going to http://localhost:8096/web/index.html#!/home.html, I just see the jellyfin logo, that's all

    Hi all,

Usually my way of accessing Jellyfin is by loading the Jellyfin Tray App, and then either going to http://localhost:8096/web/index.html#!/home.html in Chrome, or by right-clicking the jellyfin tray app icon, and selecting "Open Jellyfin".

Today, without me changing anything on my system since yesterday, this no longer works. I sit on this screen without it loading:

I have tried reinstalling Jellyfin (newest version, 10.8.10, did not work on this or previous version), have also tried using the Jellyfin Media Player (could not find server).

Running Windows 10, Jellyfin version 10.8.10, attempted in Chrome and Jellyfin Media Player.

We would need your server logs to figure out what is going on. Upload them to pastebin and share them here?

    Hey @iwanttowatchthings

Did you try entering http://localhost:8096/ into your addressbar alone?

Can you share a fresh jellyfin server log? Also in Jellyfin Media Player, try to replicate the problem and then go to

    C:\Users\your_user\AppData\local\Jellyfin Media Player

And share the JMP log with us?

    yeah will do

    my steps to recreate are:
open jellyfin media player, put http://localhost:8096/ into server list, and nothing is found. For the chrome one, it's just going to http://localhost:8096/ , and not having it load beyond the logo. The server is running both times.

i cannot find a log for JMP or the client, it doesn't seem to be making logs

Before we try other troubleshooting steps, open your browser in incognito mode and try again?
