Jellyfin on Chromecast missing keyboard

Latest Ubuntu Server OS
Jellyfin 10.10.3 (Docker compose) 
androidtv app 0.18.0 

I have had this set up without any changes for a while now and of today if I try to search for something I get a massage telling me to use the keyboard on my mobile device. Fortunately I can use my GH app to do this but it seems so unnecessary. Any idea how to change this? I also have 4 other devices that are working well without needing to use my phone for a keyboard.

Update to 0.18.2, clear the app cache, and try reproducing the problem. I haven't heard of this issue and I don't see any open github tickets regarding the onscreen keyboard.

I have had this in other apps on my Sheild and I fixed it by changing keyboards. Can't remember but I think I went from Gboard to Leanback or vice versa in settings and it fixed it.

If you're missing a keyboard in an app, it's often due to a permission issue. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and be sure to check for any permission pop-ups. Sometimes, it may ask for microphone access.
