I'm trying to install the Jelllyfin app on my Samsung Tizen TV. Frustratingly the app isn't available in the app store but it seems as though it is still possible to install it.

I've been trying to follow the docker install here but it doesn't seem to be working.

I've followed the instructions through to running the command. I get:

    Code:
Attempting to connect to Samsung TV at IP address 192.168.20.10
    * Server is not running. Start it now on port 26099 *
    * Server has started successfully *
    connecting to 192.168.20.10:26101 ...
    failed to connect to 192.168.20.10:26101
Attempting to get the TV name...
    Found TV name: QE55S90CATXXU
    Attempting to install jellyfin-tizen-builds version:
    https://github.com/jeppevinkel/jellyfin-tizen-builds/releases/tag/2023-11-29

followed by a progress update to 100% and then:

    Code:
    There is no connected target.

It doesn't seem as though its connecting despite having an active connection to the TV in Tizen Studio Device Manager.

    Any suggestions?

I've installed Jellyfin on a Samsung TV with Tizen couple of months ago following this tutorial  and this version of Jellyfin for tizen. I am hosting jellyfin in docker container.

I managed to install it using laptop with windows 10 connected to the same wifi network as the tv and I skipped some steps like the certificate instalation.
I would recommand getting a fire tv stick or something similar because on tizenOS it performs poorly.

    Hope that helps.

Yes you need the Developer Mode activ but I've done it without samsung account and certificate install.

Unfortunatelly I can not connect to TV without samsung account but certificate does not need

I use Tize Studio (Device Manager) - Device Manager can see TV in my Lan but connection established only after login samsung account

Certificate you need if you want to transfer jellyfin wgt via Device Manager windows
But I load wgt via PowerShall

on the picture connection to the port established but is not possible to transfer wgt via Device Manager (red arrow) - for this you need certificate

that is why I use PowerShall windows to transfer wgt file

I've got developer mode on my TV (says so in App store) and I have a connection established in Device Manager so I presume I've got that part all correct?
