Essentially jellyfin is all set up and works just fine locally however if I were to try from my phone on my cellular service I could not gain access. I'm currently using an att fiber modem/router and have port forwarding and all relevant settings established since I had a similar issue with Plex but I used the settings mentioned above to fix it (I hate how I have to pay a subscription to use their app hence why I'm switching to jellyfin)

any other suggestions to getting this to work ?

honestly im trying to figure out how to use caddy strictly on its own and there's little to no tutorials, do I need to use cloudfare and duckdns ?

using port 8096 and I do not have a proxy set up. i thought it would be as simple as opening up my ports like with plex

What OS is your server running? Did you open the ports on the server's firewall?
