Is it or will it removed as planed? I currently use this feature.

It was pushed back to 13.0 https://github.com/orgs/jellyfin/projects/78

Not initially, but I can do that for RC2 if you'd like.

Just restore the backup you took before upgrading to RC1

Older cpu like the intel gen i3 are not support anymore right?

Many i3 processors are still supported. i3 is a class, not a gen, the 4 or 5 digit number should indicate processor generation, for example I have a i5 14440, the first two digits are the generation (14).

That would be wonderful if you could…

Nice to see this is getting closer. Will hold off for the full release and make sure all goes well with my important plugins.

My bad, meant Intel Gen 3 i7 not the i3 line.
Think it was the last gen which hadn't had the something v2 implementation yet of something, don't remember anymore where i've seen it mentioned. :')

Those CPUs should still be supported.  We recently added new documentation regarding older X86 CPUs.  The last bullet point in this table

    https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/admini...c-hardware

So a gen 3 core CPU, Ivy Bridge, is still supported.
