Is this the first scan after upgrading to RC4? It could take a while depending on what cleanup and new tasks need to be done. Subsequent scans should be faster.

No this is for scans I do after the main 1st scan also applies to people scans aswell. Running on windows 11

Oh I see. There must be something in your library which doesn't migrate correctly to the new database architecture and gets bogged down during updates/scans. For me on 10.11.11 clicking 'Scan All Libraries' takes under a minute, basically the same as 10.10.7. Almost everything is on SSDs for me though, so that might be part of the reason.
But are arbitrary background update speeds a good reason to hold your server back to soon deprecated versions?
