Hey, I made a thing that might be useful here.
JellyTunes is a desktop app that connects to your Jellyfin server and lets you sync music to USB drives, SD cards, or any local folder. Basically the iTunes "sync to device" experience but for your self-hosted library.
- Browse artists, albums, playlists from your Jellyfin server
- Selective sync — pick exactly what goes on the device
- FLAC → MP3 conversion at 128k/192k/320k for saving space
- Smart skip — only grabs new or changed tracks on subsequent syncs
- Per-device sync history, cancel mid-sync, zero telemetry
Platforms: macOS (arm64 + x64), Windows, Linux (AppImage + deb)
Download: https://github.com/orainlabs/jellytunes/releases
Built for personal use (USB drive for the car) and figured it was worth releasing. Happy to hear what's broken or what features would make it worth using for your setup.
