I am wanting to set static images for my libraries. Every time I need to reboot the server/instance, it refreshes the images. I do have it as a docker container with read-only access to the media, but does have a configured cache and config folder with read/write access. I also have the "Save artwork into media folders" checkbox selected. I would like to get some images and have those set in stone instead of having them change whenever a reboot occurs. Save artwork into media folders

I'm going from memory, on the home screen there should be a "..." context menu with "Edit Images" as an option. I think that is how you set custom static images.

I was hoping to grab some of the existing images so I wouldn't have to go out and grab new ones.

Just for clarification, are we talking about the images for the Library itself? Or the image for each movie/show?

The "Save artwork into media folders" option saves the images for each movie/show in the directory itself. If you enabled that option AFTER you've already added and identified your media, Jellyfin will NOT go back and save them. You would have to do a rescan and select "replace all metadata" and check "replace images".

No, not for the individual movies/shows. I am talking about the Libraries themselves. I have had the option setup from the beginning however for the movie/show media.

Then the way I mentioned with edit images is the only way. There is no mechanism to search through existing images that Jellyfin has already scrapped from your movie/show entries.
