After upgrading to 10.9 the web player is unable to play live tv streams.

"playback failed because the media is not supported by this client"

Have tried it on desktop browsers and the android app web player, the android app works with the integrated player.

All other playback appears to work fine.

It looks like the Android client is, I'm assuming, remuxing but the browser isn't. Is not compatible with the web clients but you have transcoding disabled?

Transcoding is enabled. It'll successfully transcode & play on Android with the integrated player but when using the web player playback will fail. It had been working on 10.8.

Try enabling auto looping in the live TV dashboard.

Thanks, that fixed it with one channel for playback on Android, in the app and in a browser.

On a Linux Desktop it works with Chromium but fails with Brave & Firefox.

Weird, I'll check with Windows when I get a chance.

My live TV Streams just stopped working couple of days ago. I've tried every setting and configuration that I can think of. The Direct files themselves play fine. Only the Live-TV stopped working on the player end.
    My Server is 10.10.6
    Docker install
    6.1.0-0.deb11.21-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Debian 6.1.90-1~bpo11+1 (2024-05-06) x86_64 GNU/Linux
    tons of cores
Any ideas as to why it just stopped working ?

I would need to see your Jellyfin and ffmpeg log. Share them via privatebin.net.
