I haven't been using Jellyfin since launch, but I have been using it for at least 4-5 years now and have seen it evolve from a clunky yet functional piece of niche software to an indispensable part of my media viewing experience. I used to use the Jellyfin addon for Kodi to achieve a more polished experience and to be able to shuffle large playlists, but these days the various clients are so good that I have absolutely no reason to use anything other than the native apps on FireTV, Xbox, Android, and PC. I've seen bugs (especially around playlists) come and go throughout the years and I just wanted to thank the devs and community for all the hard work of constantly improving this free and open source experience. The software is truly awesome and frees my family and I from the streaming services that rule the world of media. And while I could estimate the savings and whatnot, I can't put a price on what that freedom means to me. So thank you all for making this the best streaming service I've ever experienced!
Much love, and respect; Keep on keeping on!
