Mac OS issue on install

So, I had emby installed and removed it, install latest jellyfin, and it starts, can’t connect to local host error on 2 different browsers, all caches cleared etc
Is this just a non starter then? Or somthing simple?

What address are you typing into your browser? Can you share the server logs with us?

Right click on the icon, open web ui, not typing anything. If it’s never started and I haven’t even created a username will there be a log?

All I have done is install from the dmg, click open on the icon, that’s it. Looks like the web ui is trying to open local host 8096, I think

If the process started at all there should be a log of some kind.

I don't have any Macs, but the docs say the logs are in either

~/.config/jellyfin/
or
~/.local/share/jellyfin/

Cheers. I have boot camp on this one, so, will first try and boot in windows 10 and see how that goes, then try and find logs
Had a mare accessing emby externally on Mac, so, this may do the trick
