    Definitely an ordinary video. Should direct play on anything, really, and a modest bit rate.

    You wouldn't be using iPerf with Jellyfin, the server app. You'd setup an iPerf server on your Mac, separate from Jellyfin. Then the iPerf client is run on your phone and connects to iPerf on your Mac and does a client-to-client speed test.

    @theguymadmax - They're using Jellyfin Mobile and I also saw a playback entry for Jellyfin-web.

    Try the Swiftfin client; it's available on the app store. I find that there are less issues than the mobile app.

    My local network play is fine. Its just remote, both remote on wifi and remote on LTE. Which tells me its not really a remote bandwidth issue. I will set up iPerf now

    IMO, it looks like the LTE connections flakes for a few seconds. But you've stated you have issues when you're connected to a remote land line Internet connection, right? Sooooo, the common factor is your home Internet connection, right?

    In your first post when you said this:

    Yes, it does it on WIFI at remote locations. I agree with you that it has to be network-related. It's just killing me. I just disabled DPI on my UDM Pro, and that didn't help either.

    I have zero other problems at home. And I can remote into my Mac with no issues.

    In terms of speed, yes. I have 2G up and down from ATT and wired speed tests from multiple devices end up being about 1.6-1.8G download and 1.4-1.7G upload. The UDM has its own speed test and its about the same. Even my wifi is 1.2G up and down. (That's on my iPhone 15)
