    Media playback issue (Direct-Stream)

    Jellyfin (Docker) Linux Host fails to play back 1% Media files

    The event that occurs is media playback will as type direct stream. The media will start playing back to playback device successfully then crash mid playback always @ the same spot per file.

    Can you share your jellyfin logs via pastebin.

    Also provide the server hardware specs and OS.

    I need the full jellyfin log. I'm not going to see anything with the log that provides the same info as the ffmpeg log. Censor any domain names and public IPs.

    It looks like you are using the LinuxServer image for Jellyfin? Another user in our Matrix/Discord chat had this same issue with the LinuxServer image. Try switching to the official Jellyfin image. You will have to start over since the data that the LSIO image creates is not compatible/interchangeable with the official Jellyfin image.

    Are the files bad? If you tried to watch them in VLC, that is not a good indicator that they are NOT bad. VLC will power through corrupt or malformed files.

    You could try manually remuxing the files to see if just the container is bad.

    i just manually remuxed a file with mkvmerge , still will not correctly playback. also all other clients playback fine. Pc web-client and android (official app) only roku express 4k+ has issues.
