    Hey guys!
I have been using jellyfin for quite some time now but I really hate the renaming chores when adding new content...

My setup and workflow looks like this:

    [Proxmox Server]

    • Jellyfin LXC
    • TrueNAS VM
    • {Thing we don't talk about - Censored by TDP} LXC
    • {Thing we don't talk about - Censored by TDP} LXC (or similar soon to come)

I {Thing we don't talk about - Censored by TDP}, manually create folders [Show Name] / [Season X] and use power-rename to rename the episodes to [Episode X]. Then copy the folder over to my library.

There has got to be a way/tool/script that does all of this automatically, maybe except for creating the top folder. Like "Create title folder, create season folder, rename all files in order to [Episode X], copy everything to destination //NAS/library"

How do you do that? Any tips? Best practice?

Tiny Media Manager might be able to help. Or Sonarr. It has a library management function.

    ....
I already spent hours setting up sonarr and it looks like it will take me another few until I got everything right but this tool looks incredible! Thank you very much, even though you just made me sink even more time into my new server setup ^^
