Movie/Series theme music error

Hey

I've been putting music themes in movie/series folders and suddenly Jellyfin Media player started giving errors when I enter a movie or Series that has theme.mp3/flac in its folder. It won't play them and gives error.

Anybody knows why it's not working?

What version of Jellyfin Media Player are you using? I'm assuming 1.11.1.

Well the latest that's available in the downloads section. When I restart both the server and the player, it works for one theme song, after that breaks again, there is nothing in the server logs so I assume it's something with the player/laptop I am using as client. Updated the intel igpu drivers and still happens

I'll do some testing when I get home and ask the devs if this is a JMP issue or jellyfin-web issue. Or something else.

Thank you. I tested it with microsoft edge now and it seems to be working fine although after you refresh the movie page you have to wait like 10-15 seconds before any theme is being played on the same movie or clicking other movies.

I was not able to reproduce. JMP, jellyfin-web in Chrome and Chromium all worked fine with theme songs. I was able to switch between movies with test theme songs and no errors or anything.

Remind me, does your setup use a reverse proxy?

I am using Tailscale to connect remotely to my server so I don't have to expose it to the internet. Running Tailscale at default settings

I guess reinstall the client, if you haven't tried that already. I don't see how tailscale would do anything to cause this. Does this happen when you DON'T use tailscale?

Well from what I see as long as I don't right click refresh within the player it seems to be working fine now
