Hello, I recently set up a jellyfin server (10.11.
on my Synology NAS, running in docker using the Container Manager app. I still have access to my admin account, but I also created a regular user account for myself, which I somehow lost the password for. I tried various troubleshooting methods, but didn't have any success, so I tried deleting the user account, but that failed as well (I'm not worried about losing what little watch progress I've logged so far). The user account should not be locked because the amount of retries is set to -1
The first thing I tried was the "Forgot Password" option on the logon screen. Nothing appears to happen when I enter the user name and click "Submit", however, I was able to access the docker instance and find that a
After this I tried using the root account to manually reset the password via the dashboard, trying a few possible current passwords I thought might work, but naturally this was unsuccessful, since the server is relatively new and I haven't watched very much yet, I decided to try deleting the account and re-making it, but the delete user action just spins, nothing ever happens. I found some threads online of people saying that running the "cleanup playlists" task and then deleting the user worked, but that didn't help me.
